Hyères, the most southerly and one of the sunniest city of Provence and its peninsula have 39 km of pristine sand beaches and rocky inlets to offer. The charm, climate and wonderful scenery make this a very special place. Hyères, the city of palm trees, was once the favorite summer resort of celebrities, some of the intellectual elite and the rich. The magnificent homes that they built near the old city in the beginning of the century are still there.
